My name is Patricia Elenie Lapadula, and I know everyone has a story. We walk by stories everyday.
My story began in Panama City, Panama, at the eve of a short-lived war. My first language is Spanish, but I have lived in the United States long enough for my mother to complain that I’m forgetting my words. My first passion is photojournalism: the chance to change the world with images. That passion turned down the road of infographics, and a way to visualize stories out of data. On a day-to-day-basis I do web and graphic design, branding and marketing.
Although, I dislike the word marketing. I like Creative Storytelling instead. I believe every person and organization has a story to tell, and that story can’t be told only in ads. It’s a story told creatively, compellingly, and with a voice.
I adore the beautiful works of Gabriel García Márquez and Patrick O’brien. I sail competitively when I can, and for pleasure, always.
