Even though I’ve lived in this country for a while now, I’m still rather unfamiliar with Thanksgiving traditions. The holiday itself can’t be too complicated, right? Giving thanks — a concept generally understood worldwide. As I get ready to attended some gatherings that I’ve been generously invited to, I think: so what do you wear to celebrate the action of giving thanks? Should I wear something nice, super-nice, casual? Then I worry about the pumpkin pie I made, in which I substituted two egg yolks for egg whites, and wonder what disastrous consequences it might have.
Anyways, off to get ready.
But for you my Lapadula-ites, Christmas has come early because I finally sorta-finished putting together a separate photo website, which I hope to market to The Peoples of the World who might be in need of affordable, good photography. If you or anyone you know need a family portrait taken for their Holiday cards or whatnot, send ‘em over to Patricia Lapadula Photography and tell them to contact me. They might be able to declare their expenses as a charitable donation (maybe not technically, but it’ll definitely get them some Awesome Points in heaven).
The Travel section of the website is not up yet because going through all my travel photos and picking the better ones is a daunting task. Also, let me know if you’re experiencing any problems with the site. I’ve tested it in most browsers and everything seemed fine, but I’ve learned the hard way that just because it works on my (Mac) browsers, doesn’t mean it’ll work everywhere.
Thanks, and hope everyone has a happy gobble gobble day!
